We have accumulated a large array of exercises, across the various exercise types, for each of the primary muscle groups. Whether you are wanting to research the types of exercises that are typically performed for a specific muscle group, the types of exercises that are performed across the various muscle groups for a specific exercise type, or simply wanting the review how to perform a specific exercise correctly - You will find what you are looking for within this section of our website.
The intent of our exercise section of our website is to assist you in quickly identifying and locating the specific exercise types and exercises that you would like to perform for each muscle group in order to achieve your specific health and fitness goals.
Once you have identified the particular muscle group of interest, the exercises are sorted in alphabetical order so that you can easily and quickly locate the specific exercise of interest.
For example, if you are interested in exercises associated with your biceps then you can choose Exercises by Muscle Group: Biceps Exercises. From there, you can then choose the type of exercise that you will exercise your Biceps with (i.e. weight training). Thereafter, a list of all exercises under the specific muscle group will be displayed. Each specific exercise will list the required equipment that is necessary to perform the exercise, the benefits of the exercise, the typical number of sets and repetitions for the exercise, and a step-by-step set of instructions on how to correctly perform the exercise.

Abdominals
The Abdominals include the pyramidalis, transversus abdominis, rectus abdominis muscles and support the lower body, breathing, and protect the inner organs.

Back
The Back consists of the latissimus dorsi, trapezius, intertransversarii, multifidus spinae muscles and support spinal movement and flexibility.

Biceps
The Biceps consist of the brachii muscle, meaning two headed, or two bundles of muscle and supports three joints; the upper forearm, elbow, and shoulder.

Calf
Calf, (aka the triceps surae - meaning three headed) include the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles and support the ankle, walking, running, and jumping.

Chest
The Chest consists of the pectoralis major and minor muscles and are responsible for 4 actions that are related to the movement of the shoulder joint.

Core
Core muscles include of the abdominals, obliques, hips, gluteals, and lower back and provide structural strength, stability, and explosiveness.

Forearms
The Forearm muscles include the flexors and extensors of the digits, a flexor of the elbow, and pronators and supinators that turn the hand face down or upwards.

Gluteals
Gluteals include the the gluteus maximus, medius, and minimus muscles and allows the trunk to extend and the hips to extend and laterally rotate.

Hamstrings
The Hamstrings consist of the semitendinosus, semimembranosus and biceps femoris muscles and extend the hip, flex the knee, and rotate the lower leg.

Neck
Neck consists of several muscles and allows the head to rotate from side to side, ear to shoulder, chin to sternum, and to look upwards.

Quadriceps
The Quadriceps (meaning 4 headed muscle) act as extensors for the knee joint, a flexor of the hip, and are crucial for walking, running, jumping, and squatting.

Shoulders
Shoulders consist of the anterior, lateral, and posterior deltoids muscles and are responsible as the primary mover of arm along the frontal plane.

Trapezius
The Trapezius muscle allows the shoulder blades to be moved downward, the shoulders to elevate, and the shoulder blades to move towards one another.

Triceps
Triceps, meaning three heads, is comprised of the brachii muscle and is primarily responsible for extension of the elbow joint (i.e. straightening of the arm).
